Shadow was on a walk during the night through Station Square when he felt like someone was watching him. He quickly sped up, but that feeling never left. He turned around, but no one was there. He faced the way he was walking and ran into a blue hedgehog. He had red eyes. His fur was a shiny blue and he wore red shoes with a white stripe and white gloves.

"Hello Shadow.." He said.

"Who.. Are you?"

"Your worst nightmare.." He whispered into Shadow's right ear. Quickly, Shadow punched him in the stomach, but it didn't seem to do any damage.

"You can't kill the dead.." The blue hedgehog said evily.

"What?!" Shadow said taking a step back.

"You know.. Someone who has your intelligence is quite slow." He said showing off extra large canines.

"Arg!" He said punching the blue hedehog hard in the head. Still, nothing seemed to hurt him.

"Say goodnight.. " He said putting both hands on Shadow's shoulders.

"Chaos Control!" Shadow said. He reappeared on the beach alone.

'What was that all about? And who was that hedgehog?' He thought.

"What did he mean you can't kill the dead?" He asked himself.

"What do you think?" A familiar voice said from behind.

"Just who are you?!" He asked.

"Sonic the hedgehog. At your service!" He said bowing.

"Huh? Who's Sonic the Hedgehog?"

"Well, I did dissapeared over 200 years ago.. So I don't expect you to know me.."

"What the fuck are you talking about?!!?!"

"Shadow, Shadow, Shadow... You need to brush up on your history.."

"How do you know my name?!"

"The ultimate life form created and raised aboard the Space Colony Ark. Heh.. I expected better from you."

"How do you know all that?! The only people who know are.."

"Shyrie the echidna and Doctor Ivo Robotnick the 3rd."

"But.."

"Tsk, Tsk..." He said shaking his head.

Quickly, Shadow threw a punch at Sonic, who counterd with a round house kick, causing Shadow to fall to the floor. Shadow scrambled to his feet.

"Your alot slower then I anticipated.. No matter." He said with an evil grin. Quickly, he dashed next to Shadow and held him still..

"Get off me!! You stalker!" He yelled pushing Sonic off.

"Aw.. Shadow's afwaid of a vampier.." Sonic said teasingly.

"Vampire?"

"You didn't think these teeth were natural.. Did you?"

"Chaos control." Shadow said. He reappeaerd at the base.

"Doctor. Have you ever heard of a Sonic the Hedgehog?" He asked a tall skinny man.

"He was my great-grandfather's arch enemy. He dissapeared after a large battle 203 years ago I beleive."

"Apparently, he's a vampire now." He said.

"That can't be true."

"But it is." He said walking into another room and finding Shyrie.

"Shyrie, get out.. I need the computer for a while."

"No way."

"You want to die? I suggest you leave.." He said sternly. Shyrie did as told.

Shadow sat at the computer and typed in 'Sonic the hedgehog.' The screen came up with thousands of links. He clicked one and began to read.

' Sonic the hedgehog was a world renoun hero. He protected earth from evil and cared for everyone. His best friend was a twin-tailed fox named Tails. His other friends were Amy Rose, Rouge the Bat, Knuckles the echidna and eventually Shadow the hedgehog.'

'How could it be? I wasn't alive then.' He thought.

He clicked another link and it said just about the same stuff.. After about another 50, he gave up.

'I couldn't have been alive then.. I better give his once friends a visit. If their alive..' He thought. He typed in Tails' name and got a number and house adress.
